Sold to Oregon: AQHA Gelding – Badger – 2007 Buckskin/Gray/Dun

This is a a very stout and pretty boy. Had some training with Shannon Allison (www.ShannonAllison.com) in Boise, a great trainer and clinician. He had about 1.5 months of training in Aug/Sept before sales time. Badger had about three months of training in the Council area in early 2010 (after which he was just put back into 500 acres to play), but all he was doing is trail riding and he didn’t learn too much. He is starting to get more soft and will be a great gelding with some more finishing touches. He is not suited for a beginner at this time. He needs to be finished for sure. Very gentle on the ground and respectful. Loads and catches without problems too. We pulled him out of training to get another mare in for tune-up, Millie Mae.

He spent most of his life in mtn pastures. Sure footed. Has lived with cattle, a camel and other exotic animals all his life.

Had his teeth done Sept 15, 2011, all current on meds and recently wormed. He is easy to clip and bath too.

Will have his coggins at sales time.

His papers are with the prev. seller and I have not been able to get his name or his papers from her. Currently he will sale grade, but I will gladly pass on the sellers name, she guaranteed his papers and I am still trying to get them. (She said she is waiting on AQHA).

He had a bout with a barb wire fence 18 months ago and has healed very well. Does have some scars on his hind leg, but shows absolutely no soreness and is sound and shows no soreness or lameness at all.  My vet thinks with time the scars will disappear more.
